You can still diagnose the pattern.
If you attempted less than 72% of the set, or averaged more than about 4.3 minutes per attempted TMUA question or 1.7 minutes per attempted ESAT question, start with pacing and question selection. Otherwise, if you guessed at least 25% of attempted questions, start with selection under pressure. If neither applies, use the error type you recorded most often.
Use 8 questions when your attempt rate is below 72%, 10 when accuracy is below 65%, and 12 otherwise. If you have no clean setup after 90 seconds, mark it, move on, and revisit only after securing questions you can start.
Seven-day reset
- Day 1: Run a timed baseline and label every miss.
- Day 2: Redo misses untimed and record the first wrong step.
- Day 3: Run a timed set with the 90-second skip rule.
- Day 4: Drill the two most common error labels for 30 minutes.
- Day 5: Run another timed set and compare attempt rate.
- Day 6: Redo skipped questions and explain each skip.
- Day 7: Run a mixed set and review accuracy, guesses and unseen questions.
